Initially the character looked very 'Barbie Girl', but it was very much one of those images where the harder I tried to create something that was a bit more elegant & traditionally 'Girly-Girl', the blander the character looked.
Until I eventually gave in & just embraced my artistic instincts taking the character in a slightly more tacky direction.
